A MILESTONE FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION AT DACE
Sabre Education Ghana and the Early Grade Students Association (EGSA) of Dambai College of Education launch a dedicated Early Grade Resource Centre to strengthen foundation teaching.
In a remarkable leap forward for early childhood education in Ghana, Sabre Education Ghana, in close collaboration with the Early Grade Students Association (EGSA) of Dambai College of Education (DACE), has officially commissioned a state-of-the-art Early Grade Resource Centre.
This modern facility is set to transform how student teachers at DACE prepare for their careers. Equipped with a wide array of hands-on teaching and learning materials — from interactive literacy aids to creative numeracy kits — the centre provides practical resources tailored to the needs of early learners.
- Lesson-ready manipulatives and classroom sets for early numeracy and literacy practice.
- Child-centred teaching guides and sample lesson plans focused on play-based learning.
- Simulated classroom corners for practice teaching and peer feedback.
- Inclusive materials that support learners with diverse needs.
The centre will serve as a vibrant hub where student teachers can practice innovative teaching methods, develop lesson plans, and engage in peer learning. Through hands-on practice and mentorship, graduates will gain the competence and confidence to inspire and support the youngest learners.
"This partnership reflects a shared vision: to equip educators with the right tools so they can nurture young minds effectively. A strong foundation today shapes the leaders of tomorrow." — Representative, Sabre Education Ghana
"As a future teacher, I feel privileged to have access to these resources. It gives me the confidence to step into any classroom and make a difference from day one." — Student Teacher, DACE
"Investing in our teachers is the most strategic investment we can make for the nation's future. The Early Grade Resource Centre is not just a building — it is a promise to our children." —GYIITEY JAMES SEI
Beyond bricks and mortar, the collaboration between Sabre Education Ghana and EGSA represents a long-term investment in quality education. Both organisations recognise that early childhood education is the bedrock of national development — investing in teachers is investing in the nation's future.

For student teachers, this facility is a place of discovery, creativity, and growth. Here they will explore child-centred teaching approaches, develop inclusive learning strategies, and build the capacity to foster curiosity and confidence among young learners.
Impact: Better-prepared teachers, improved early learning outcomes, and a stronger pipeline of educators who understand play-based and inclusive practices.
Indeed, the journey of nation-building begins with the youngest minds. At DACE, those entrusted with guiding these minds are now better prepared than ever. The Early Grade Resource Centre stands as a beacon of hope, progress, and commitment to educational excellence — a milestone worth celebrating not only for the college but for the future of Ghana's children.
